Iakovos and Camille were amazing hosts to our large, varied group of hikers!Each day provided two adventures - a short and a long walk - enabling all of us to enjoy beautiful western Crete. And what sights to see! The various adventurous - never a repeat - allowed us to see so many different sights of Kissamos and the surrounding area, from the depths of lush gorges to panoramic, bright blue, sea views. We visited many historic sights and locals on our travels, all of whom were incredibly welcoming.Iakovos and Camille could not have been more helpful. Quietly confident, dealing with many questions, and always managing to find us that thirst quenching drink (often a beer ;)) at the end of the day. The welcome dinner was a fabulous way to introduce us to the local cuisine (all delicious), and hospitality in their own home at the end of a challenge was much appreciated!!For me this was a ideal holiday - lazy breakfast, adventure during the day, clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel (say hi to Lucy the dog), and lovely local tavernas for dinner and the odd cocktail. Just a note to say we all arrived home safely last night after our wonderful week away with you in Kissamos. A big big thank you to you both for all the great walks you led for us and for the care and attention you gave to our group which made it all very special.
Maybe one day we'll be back in Crete!

Dear Iakovos & Camille
Now that I’m back home from the recent holiday I just want to thank you both for such a wonderful week’s walking.
The organisation was faultless throughout the week, from the time you met us at the airport to the time you saw us off from the hotel on the last day.
In terms of walking abilities we were very much a mixed group but the choices of walks each day suited everyone so thank you for that. I also enjoyed hearing about the various Archaeological sites we came across and the many flowers we saw on the walks.
The bus rides to the starts to the walks were well organised despite the lack of an accurate timetable!
The first evening meal at the taverna was a bonus and also the last day’s visit to your home for refreshments was a lovely touch. And the home made wine fortified me immensely!
So all in all a great holiday so thank you very much. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to other walking groups.
And you never know, our paths may cross again in the future!
