Thank you very much for a wonderful week. You were so welcoming and the holiday was everything I had imagined and more! The week was well organised and thought out, taking us to lovely places for us to paint without any pressure to perform! I loved our welcome dinner together in the fantastic and reasonable local restaurant on the beach. It was great to just roll up and be given boards, paints, pots and little stools to use and always find shady places. The accommodation was amazing with trays of breakfast brought to our balconies round the pool.

I really appreciated your gentle guidance and found myself painting pictures that I never thought I would be able to achieve. The variety of the countryside was truly inspiring and I kept painting when I tagged on a second week in Chania.
Thank you both so much for a brilliant holiday, which couldn't have been any better. I met some lovely people and I hope to come again next year, maybe in October.

It was such a remarkable holiday that you provided, and I feel privileged to have been introduced to a lovely, lovely part of Crete. The walks are a perfect length, and such a rich experience coloured by Iakovos’s wonderful history and culture guide. Beautiful villages and tracks past olive groves wonderful vistas and a generous provision of Byzantine and earlier cultural landmarks. We managed a few sketches on the walks, but Camille chose some perfect locations for painting in the afternoons- chosen for light, tone and colours as well as subjects unique to Crete. It was a perfect combination of very productive time walking and painting in this quiet but fabulous area of Crete. I am so glad to have met you. Thank you both so much for your knowledge and generous, gentle kindness.

Having just returned from a week in Kissamos I have to thank you for your hospitality and a well organised week of walking, sharing with us your knowledge and love of the island along the way.We were a large group with mixed abilities but there were choices of walk everyday which catered for this.It was nice to see the real Crete where the tourists don't go, the tavernas along the way, one barely more than a room in someone's house but everyone was so friendly and welcoming, such a relaxed way of life. You can't help but feel restored even after a day of walking up hills, down a gorge or along the coast.A really wonderful holiday with lots of memories, would recommend to anyone wanting a walking holiday.I hope to visit again and do some more walks with you and maybe some yoga too.Jayne Clark, Boston Ramblers - Boston - Lincolnshire - May 2022
