KRISHNA HASSOMAL

Krishna HassomalKrish (http://www.krishyoga.com/) grew up in beautiful sunny Valencia in Spain and has an Indian background.  Her heritage has given her the chance to blend eastern and western cultures, which is also her approach to teaching yoga.

She started learning about yoga in her teens, thanks to her mother who forced her to go to yoga classes with her!  She admits she was reluctant to going at first, but it didn't take long for her to realise there was something special about it.  This made her want to learn more.

She moved to central London in 2003 to pursue a degree in science, which gave her the opportunity to learn more about yoga.  She explored different styles, attended lots of workshops and practiced with many teachers.  She soon noticed the benefits of yoga, and was fascinated by how closely it is linked to science.

She wanted to share what yoga has given her and in 2013 she completed a 200 Hour Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainer Course: Laxmi Yoga Teacher Training with Sally Parkes in London and Spain. She also completed Sally's 85 Hour Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training Course in 2014 and is registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals.

In 2013 she started teaching Yoga in West Cumbria at the Senhouse Centre and in Florence Mine. In May 2015 she moved to Germany with her husband where she was teaching at Maisha. Because change is the only constant, in September 2016 they moved to Amsterdam! She now teaches at the Conscious Club, Tula Amsterdam and run retreats in Spain and Greece.
